Rui Fontoura Skuespiller

Rui Fontoura is an actor born in 2001 in Porto and currently based in Lisbon. He began his theatrical training in Porto in 2024 under Bárbara Machado. He recently completed his second year of the Acting program at Lisbon Theater and Film School (ESTC), performed in The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia?, directed by Henrique Gomes, and starred in two short films. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Creativity and Business Innovation. His theatre credits include The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia? (2026), directed by Henrique Gomes, and Migraaaants (2025), directed by Rodrigo Spina. In 2025, he also participated in Mónica Calle’s laboratory-performance ANTIGONAE, presented at Mala Voadora in Porto. In film, he starred in the student short films PARAGEM (2025), directed by Amelie Panigaz Borges and Rodrigo Oliveira, and LISBOA, ESPERA POR MIM (2025), directed by Salvador Matadinho. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Creativity and Innovation.
